Domain Name Policies

All domains registered, renewed, and managed through our service are subject to the terms below.

Registration

Domains are registered and managed in line with Nominet’s terms and conditions. We register .uk domain names through our Nominet channel partner membership, and all registrations are completed in full compliance with those rules. Domain names are subject to availability and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your Obligations

• You agree that any domain registered via our channel will:
  • Not be used unlawfully.
  • Not be registered in bad faith or be considered an abusive registration.
  • Not infringe the legal rights of any third party.
• You acknowledge that while we will do our best to register the name you request, we cannot guarantee registration even if the domain appears available. If your chosen name cannot be registered, we will contact you within 24 hours and offer either an alternative name or a full refund.
• As the Registrant, you will provide accurate details including:
  • The domain name you wish to register.
  • Your name, address, email address, and telephone number, and where applicable, your company name.
  • Any additional information required to register the domain.
  • These details are required by and processed by the Registry, not by us.
  • If you are registering a high-value premium domain, you may be asked to provide a valid photo ID and proof of address to comply with anti-money laundering requirements.
• You will keep your contact details up to date for all domains you hold.
• You acknowledge that if the information you provide is incorrect or unreliable, and you fail to update it or respond to registrar enquiries, this will be treated as a breach of these terms and may result in suspension or deletion of your domain without refund or compensation.

Renewal and Expiry

We will send a renewal reminder to your registered email address at least 30 days before the expiry date. A domain will only be renewed if you authorise us to do so. You can renew a domain up to 30 days after the expiry date, which is known as the Expiry Grace Period. Renewals during the Expiry Grace Period are charged at the standard renewal rate. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are accurate, as we cannot be held responsible for non-renewal caused by outdated information.

After the Expiry Grace Period ends, the domain enters the Redemption Grace Period for 60 days. Renewal during this period is usually still possible but cannot be guaranteed. An additional recovery fee on top of the standard renewal fee may apply, and any fees will be confirmed to you before renewal is processed.

After the Redemption Grace Period ends, the domain enters the Pending Delete stage for 5 days. A domain cannot be recovered once it reaches this stage. Roughly 95 days after expiry, the domain is deleted from the registry and typically becomes available again for registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

Auto-renewal can be enabled on request. You can contact us at any time during the registration period to set it up.

Charges

The fee for registering or renewing a .uk domain name is £50 per year. Updates to registrant details and transferring a .uk domain away from us to another Nominet registrar are free of charge. Please note we are not responsible for any charges a third-party registrar may apply during a transfer, as these are outside our control.

We also offer a selection of Premium domains. Premium domains may be available for sale or lease and are priced individually on request.
